“Humor to entertain, science to amaze”
The Boise WaterShed features high-tech exhibits that use humor to entertain, science to amaze and visuals to personalize exhibits. The computer touchscreens are like playing video games to learn about water. The messages of conservation and stewardship are emulated through captivating works of art in and around the center. A free art podcast tour is available for check-out. The Library resource center features books, videos and teacher kits available for loan. Young children will enjoy the Kids Corner with games, puppets and coloring sheets. Visitors may drop in to explore the exhibit hall, library, artwork and waterwise garden during the hours of 9:30-4:30. Groups of 10 or more people must sign up two weeks in advance for a guided exhibit hall tour, wastewater treatment plant tour, or hands-on lesson or tour for PreK - college age students.
