I know these don't make a lot of sense but that is what I was told, we are staying 3 weeks and at this point we are a week in, today is 03/04/17. Good AT&T cellular reception. No wifi.
We liked spot 648 but the others right near us were good as well, you can also park out on the point which is lovely but I think only has 30 amp service, not sure.

This is their off season, they said it gets much busier and hotter in the summer! I would definitely NOT come here in the summer, it gets into the 100-110 degree range and it gets packed with people looking to party. You may want to bring in your own water to drink, the water here is ok to drink but seems high in minerals and calcium so the taste is a little funny.

We found this place in a desperate attempt to get out of our spot at Black Meadow Landing at Lake Havasu, which was swarming with snowbirds and packed in like sardines, where they tried to charge us $82 for a spot with zero view and couldn't connect to our sewer since it was 40 feet away!

We are camping for the nature. Typically we prefer state parks for the outdoor factor, large spots etc., while we have found some smaller RV parks that we have liked we mostly try to avoid them. While Lake Havasu was beautiful but it was cramped, pricey and the loud asses (wild burros) left us wanting to leave ASAP.

This is a small mostly summertime community, with about 100 people that live here all year round and some that come for the mild winters. There are lots of trailers, motorhomes and mobile homes, plus camping and RV areas. There is a small general store that sells most things you could need including gas, beer, fishing bait and licenses, as well as some clothing and other random lake necessities/food stuffs. The property is leased from the Colorado Indian Reservation, really it is a beautiful place to be, because of this you can buy fishing licenses for this area specifically instead of getting a California license. $5/day, $15/3 days etc....

Access: All the roads are dirt and well maintained unless it has rained, even then the park does what it can to maintain them by watering them as to not be so dusty. I could see it being hard to get in and out if it was muddy, hence the 4 stars, I have been told they don't get a lot of rain here though.

Location: Right of US Hwy 95, not to be confused with I-95 which is close by, 30 minutes north of Blythe, CA and about an hour south of Lake Havasu. Grocery stores are about 25 minutes away in Parker, AZ, which is a lovely drive through farmland. There are also beautiful views of mountains everywhere.

Cleanliness: VERY well kept, trash is taken out every other day and the facilities like the bathroom and laundry mat are clean, old paint but otherwise clean. Laundry is $1-$1.50 for both washer and dryers. The area is also extremely well manicured.

Site: Our site was covered in GRASS, which has delighted my dogs to no end. Hookups are close and easily accessible, water, sewer and electric. There are lots of birds and bunny rabbits around, so I do have to watch my pups to make sure they aren't constantly eating bunny poop. We are about a city block away from the Colorado River in spot 648.

Noise: Birds, all day, it is really peaceful and lovely, I would record nature sounds here if I had decent equipment. Occasionally you hear planes. Also everyone here seems to own a golf cart so there is some noise from them, and when the guys come through to get trash or mow etc. No highway noise, no trains. I am going to assume more noise on the weekends but we have to experience that.

I love the people I have met here. Damon the security guard went to the same HS as I did and his wife Alberta does a stitch and bitch meet up on Thursdays. I was invited to a ladies domino game on Tuesday. Kim, Diane, Lynn Ann, and Debbie at the office have all been very kind as well. Additionally they accept packages and mail, which is a nice treat for us and have been ordering things off amazon like crazy people.

I am sure this park won't be perfect for everyone but I LOVE it here and will definitely come back. I almost don't want to leave such a good review because I don't want it to be too crowded the next time we come here. :)

I have seen hummingbirds, robins, kingfisher, coots, mallards, owls, vultures, toads, bunnies, a beaver, quail, coyote and someone said they saw a bald eagle this morning. The river and lagoon also have tons of fish. Small mouth bass, catfish, carp, and they say tilapia at certain times of year. I caught a small mouth today, first fish I ever caught.

EVERYONE here has been super nice. I am going to miss them.

This is a home for most, the camp sites are near the water and decent. The place is dirty and you may need a tetanus shot if you use the bathrooms. Cell service is poor but usable. Not sure the price matches what you get.
