Aspen Ridge Resort

Karen was lovely- the perfect hostess. Steve was the best "bar-b-que-er". And Larissa was fabulous!

My family and I visited Aspen Ridge this summer on our way to the Grand Canyon from Vancouver, WA. It was an absolute joy! Although we had a bit of trouble finding the ranch because GPS doesn't quite get you there (Karen provided good directions); once we arrived, we were treated like royalty! We stayed in one of the beautiful cabins on the property which was wonderful, clean, quiet and comfortable. Karen served as on sight cook and hostess and she did such a great job! She was kind, considerate and so pleasant! We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Karen cooked for us the entire time (except Steve made the beef Tri-tip we had the second night- fabulous!) . My whole family LOVES her biscuits!

On the second day, we were taken on a wonderful horseback ride by Larissa . This was no ordinary trail ride. We actually went out onto the ranch to make sure the newborn calves were healthy! It was a fantastic experience. Larissa was so professional and fun!

My family fell in love with Aspen Ridge and we hope to be able to return!

For that special dining experience, located on top of Quartz Mountain in a log cabin lodge you'll find this beautiful resort. You don't have to stay over night to enjoy their restaurant and bar. Try the Tri tip for two (there's so much food, 4 people will be satisfied). Have a drink and appetizer out on the deck overlooking the meadow and cattle ranch.  They also serve breakfast and lunch but you have to call ahead. Summers there's outdoor concerts on the deck for you to enjoy. This is a must experience in Southern Oregon.  If you do decide to stay, there's horseback riding, bicycling, snowmobiling, hiking, fishing and tennis available as well as a ping pong table and reading room.  The lodge features rustic elegance for rooms with private baths. There are also cabins available for rent. Perfect retreat place..
