stopped off here for a quick picnic lunch. very peaceful and serene. not too many people (late march). there is camping and boating on the river as well.
just stopping by to check out the petroglyphs is worth the short detour off the highway.

I agree with the last review about doing a short picnic there. Nice stop off and a good spot to stretch your legs if needed. The petroglyphs were interesting but we spend about 15 mins and got back on our trip.
