“Affordable comfort!”

As natives of San Juan County, we were excited to purchase the first motel built in Blanding. Because of the influence of the local geology, history, and culture, we have a wealth of ideas available for creating our vision of a comfortable, cozy lodging facility. Local photos are featured in most rooms with canyons, Anasazi Ruins, and Petroglyphs from our beautiful area. We offer Queen, Double Queen or King Beds in Standard Rooms, Deluxe Queen with a small kitchenette, an Executive Suite with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, our Family Suite, a 3-bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living room and dining room that has the potential to sleep 10 adults, and our latest, a 3 bedroom house in Bluff, Utah. All of our rooms have free high-speed wireless internet, and are non-smoking. Come in and check out the results of our remodeling; and if you like what you see, stay a night...or two...or a week!

This is a charming little motel that has real character. It makes me think of when the country was starting to have its love affair with the automobile and learning to "see the USA in your Chevrolet". You know, back when people went on adventures instead of social media tours. The room was tidy and well appointed, if a little small with a king bed (no chair or desk area), with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was a little dated but remember that you're on an adventure! It was lovely to have an outside courtyard to enjoy the fall evening and morning breakfast with delicious savory "pockets" filled with ham and mild chillies. Updated accents like southwest pottery and well appointed nightstands made this a clear step above the no-tell motels we drove past. Plus it's just next door to a combination A&W / gas station / mini mart /bowling alley (!!), so you don't need to drive for dinner, snacks, or entertainment.
Pull on in, sleep well, arise refreshed, départ well fed..
