“we never sacrifice quality”
A family owned business since 1922, we offer high quality food at reasonable prices. We never sacrifice quality and pride ourselves on our excellent service! Sam Mohre started Sam's Place or "the tavern" in 1922. In 1939 the restaurant was moved across the street to it's current location. Sam's oldest son, Mose, went on to run the family restaurant and carried on the tradition of quality service. Eventually, Sam's Place extended into the next door barber shop which allows the restaurant to accommodate large parties and events. Mose's youngest son, Randy, now owns Sam's Place. Quality and generosity are core values at Sam's Place. Neither will ever be sacrificed. Because we are 3rd generation owned, we have a great sense of pride in how we serve our customers.
