“where everything is homemade”
Steve and Patty both grew up in Killeen, Texas, in a time when food was cooked by their moms from scratch daily at home. Steve asked Patty to marry him in 1990. They immediately enter into the refinery world, where they were able to travel and live in many Texas towns. One day Steve decided to try his hands at smoking meat. First meat on the list was Brisket and all other meats soon followed. Twenty years of trial and error paid off when the Lord asked them to open Holy Smoke. Their goal at Holy Smoke is to serve authentic, Texas style, smoked meats along with our wonderful sidekicks. Everything is home made, just like when we were kids; in Texas, BBQ was a staple food. "With a little bit of courage and a whole lotta faith, we reached our goal." -Patty Hollon
