This small 18 site campground is but a hop, skip and jump to some very good trout fishing on Bishop Creek. We would not recommend this campground for any rig over 27' as the sites are small, the road in is not very wide and the turnaround at the end of the road is pretty tight.
But, as we were only 25' foot, we were just find for any of the sites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there in late October for the beautiful fall colors and weather was just starting to get pretty brisk at night...woke up to 17º twice.
The campground is walking distance to Lake Sabrina, it's boat launch and cafe, as well as all the other lakes nestled in the Sabrina Basin. It is also a short drive to North and South Lake. The campground has two vault toilets, drinking water and fire wood for sale from the camp host on duty. During our stay, the restrooms were cleaned daily.
We do recommend a visit to this campground in the off season as summer months can be a zoo. Not only are all the campsites usually taken, it can be very noisy at night and you will have a stream of fisherman walking past you along the creek trail during all hours of the day.

Awesome spit for trying to get some fall color photography. You can walk to lake Sabrina. And quick drive to north lake.
Our site fit 3 cars so it was perfect. But it’s $7 per extra car. So it was $42 a night which is kinda steep but worth it for the fast access.

Wonderful site. Not too many bugs. Close to the river. Clean vault. Most unique thing. A HUGE boulder fell into one bathroom building. Not sure how long ago. See pictures. Looks like at least several years ago

Sabrina Campground is a popular destination on the Inyo National Forest. Most of the sites are in close proximity to Bishop Creek. About half of the sites are in the shade the other half have a more sunny exposure. Sabrina is about 3 miles from Lake Sabrina and about 10 miles from South Lake, both popular fishing destinations.
