Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on April 08, 2023A small and old campground. But it was very clean and we even used the showers. The cost was very reasonable.
The best part it was a short walk to the old mining town of Bisbee.
All sizes of RVs were there. It was quiet at night and everyone who parked there was friendly.
Since it is almost in town, it was full every night. So make reservations way ahead.
We spent 2 nights at this small but friendly park and enjoyed the quick access to town. As mentioned in other reviews, the sites are quite close to each other. The self check in was quick and easy. My only complaint was the road noise overnight on Saturday night.

Stayed here 2 nights over the summer and it was a great little RV park, the website pics don’t do it justice. Stay right next to the old pit, and just above the Copper Queen Mine Tour parking lot. We did the tour, and walk all through Old Bisbee. Full hook-ups, great shower house/laundry, but spots are a little tight. When we want another Bisbee weekend getaway, this is where we’ll be going.

What an unusual setting. You camp upon a flat piece of land right on the edge of an old pit mine. Others have talked about the surroundings. I'll concentrate on the campground.
WARNING: There is a 13' 5" bridge you have to go under to get to the campground. We are 13' 4" and made it. Phew.
WARNING: The hill to the campground has a sharp turn. We were able to do it in a 40' RV pulling our car. If you are longer than that, you better be pretty good at maneuvering your rig. When leaving, we used the lower parking lot (where the Queen Mine Tour is) to hook our toad back up to the RV.
Payment is cash or check only. Show up and pick a spot. There may or may not be someone in the office which is tucked in the back right corner. Payment envelopes are there. WiFi was excellent, as was park cable. Area is all gravel. You are close to your neighbor, but there are some plantings between you. Electric is only 30 amps. I forgot and tripped the breaker when I turned on my second air conditioner. Oops.
If passing through the area and I needed someplace to stay, I'd stop again.

This RV Park was the perfect location to stay in Bisbee. It sits on a hill overlooking the old mine and downtown Bisbee. The town lit up at night is amazing. The RV park lines the park fence with Christmas lights too. Really sets the mood. The sunset views were absolutely stunning. We went on the Queen Mine RV tour which was a minute walk down the hill. Awesome tour, definitely worth the price. We walked to downtown which was about a 5 minute walk.
The RV park has full hookups, clean restrooms/showers, and laundry! We had a bit of a problem with the septic at our site, but the owners fixed it by the time we left and we were able to dump. Park has Wi-Fi, which was okay.
Would definitely be staying here again if we visit Bisbee! FYI turns getting into the RV Park are a little tight. We have a 24 foot travel trailer and made the turns okay, but not sure about bigger rigs.

We weren't really sure what we were in for when we arrived, but the photos don't really do this place justice. Yes, it's a small gravel parking lot with a handful of spaces that are fairly tightly spaced. The owners have taken care to add plants, handpainted signs, and a picnic structure that give this place a lot of character in spite of the small size. We loved being a 5 minute walk down the hill to Bisbee's old town, and watching sunsets over the hill and the old mine. We wanted to do the mine tour, but ran out of time. We could easily have stayed here a couple weeks, but the road was calling and we had a weather window open up for a Grand Canyon visit. We'll definitely be back.

Originally we had hoped to Boondock outside of town to save a bit of money. However I am so glad that we decided to splurge and stay at queen mine! It is only a three minute walk to town. We could see the entire city from our camp spot. This park really set the tone for a wonderful few days in Bisbee! I sighed from location, the park is really very quaint and nice. The sites are arranged in a circle. Some have a picnic table. There is a nice common space with the seating. There are also very nice showers and laundry facilities on site. It is set up as a self check in location. Just to check the board for spaces that are reserved before choosing a spot. We did see employees come in to change out trash and such one of the mornings. So I imagine if you have any issues, they would be able to assist. We will definitely return at some point! The drive up to the RV park is steep and winding. However we had no issues with our 33 foot travel trailer.

On the advice of friends we stopped in Bisbee on our way to Tucson. Queen Mine RV is located in a perfect spot to explore downtown Bisbee, an artists' haven in southern Arizona. We had a great Mexican meal at Satiago's and we bought coffee at Old Bisbee Roasters. Happy with both. Bisbee's a cool spot for an overnight visit. Queen Mine provides a great space to stay for your visit.

We spent a weekend here just when it decided to snow - Even in the winter, that doesn't happen too often in Bisbee! The park itself is best for its location (about 1/4 mile walk to get into town) and its views. The spots themselves are pretty tight, but we set up our lounge area behind the RV (instead of to the side) and were pretty comfortable. Bisbee was accommodating, as usual, with great food and friendly people. We will definitely be back - though, I think we'll try to get a spot on bordering the Mine to get a different view.
