Want a bit more luxury in your treehouse retreat? Well, how about granite bathrooms, big relaxing bathtubs, sky lights above your bed, perfect for sexy stargazing. That not enough? Well, there’s also an on-sight spa and a restaurant that overlooks the Pacific.
This place is a total dream. The cabins have grass roofs and are nestled into the cliff in such a way that they almost disappear--in fact, it is a straight drop off down the dramatic cliffs when you look over the edge of the curving (glass) balconies! It's truly breathtaking. And the infinity pool is totally spectacular--you look out over the pacific, with nothing between you and the ocean. Pretty sure you can get in-suite massages. A luxury, romantic way to do Big Sur.
Check it out with out staying there! Call ahead and make a lunch or dinner recommendation.
From the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific surrounded by Redwoods to the fact that they don't allow kids or visitors around the property. It's perfectly tranquil. Some ocean suites have their own hot tub sitting on the cliff. Oh, and no televisions. There's no need to leave the compound, but if you do, try Big Sur Bakery and Café for fresh pastries and breads as well as rock star pizzas. http://fathomaway.com/postcards/romance/most-romantic-hotels-us-west/
Sierra Mar Restaurant at Post Ranch Inn boasts stunning cliffside ocean views, and offers very fine dining with a four course prix fixe menu that changes daily. It also features one of the largest wine collections in all of America. And if you're looking to spend a some money, you'd be hard-pressed to find a place more luxurious than the boutique Post Ranch Inn, built directly atop a cliff. This ranch-style hotel is also home to the Sierra Mar restaurant (mentioned above). There's no TVs here, just rustic simplicity. There are treehouses you can rent and you can take yoga or stargazing classes.
Architecturally speaking, this place is totally an eye candy!Expensive but totally worth all the money spent there!
The rooms are super luxurious with fantastic interiors, and great views at the seaside and the mountains.
The Post Ranch Inn is massive and occupies almost 100 acres of gorgeous views and you will for sure see the best sunset you have ever seen while sat at those great balconies!
The food at the restaurant is tasty and elegant and the service is spectacular!!
