“located in the heart of Big Valley”
14,754 acres located in the heart of Big Valley. The 3,000 acres of natural wetlands are created by the seasonal flow of six streams. Ash Creek is one of the most remote, least improved, and most pristine of all of DFG's wildlife areas. Pronghorn, sandhill cranes and bald eagles are among the many animals found here.
