“Central Oregon RV campground open year round”
The 283-acre Bend-Sunriver RV Camping preserve, on the Little Deschutes River, offers the best of both worlds: warm summers and snowy, dry winters. Fishing is allowed on this Central Oregon RV campground and preserve, and rivers and lakes in the area offer salmon, whitefish, and rainbow trout. Other summer fun includes boating, swimming, hiking and horseback riding. Our Thousand Trails resort offers both canoe and kayak rentals. Campsites, cabins, cottages, and yurts are available. Mt. Bachelor, a world-class ski resort just minutes away from Bend-Sunriver RV Camping, provides many winter activities as well as summer hiking and mountain biking. WiFi is available in the quaint town square in Bend.

Fire rings and picnic tables at each site.
Noise level was not a problem. A quick walk to the river -no sites are on the river. A number of the best sites are occupied by full time rigs.
Easy access to great road bike routes, kayak/SUP on site. No walking trails right out of the park. A quick drive to restaurants in Sunriver.
They also serve a $2 pancake breakfast on Sunday mornings in the club house. There is a pool open during the summer. A ping pong and a pool table are available in the club house.
We did enjoy fishing for crawdads at the resort. A quick drive is required to get to a better area for flyfishing.

This is a nice campground near to Sunriver. The sites are woody with level gravel for the RV. The restroom near our site was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. There is a "Western themed" town square with a small store. There is no sewer hook ups, but a dump site is available. It was quite quiet during our visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are nicely wooded and well spaced out from the neighbors.
Pros:
-Close to Sunriver and Cascade Lakes
-Scenic area
-Great access to the Little Deschutes river
-Huge grassy off leash dog area
-Adult and family pools
-Nice lodge and lots of activities
Cons:
-Lack of sewer connection at the sites but we used the nice hot showers at the pool and bathrooms
-Can be pricey but we paid $0 with our Zone pass and they offer a Passport America discount

We’ve stayed here twice. Once in early May before most of the campground’s recreational facilities were open (it snowed!). Then just for one night in July, so we haven’t had an opportunity to use the pool or other amenities.
The campground covers 283 acres with cabins, RV and tent sites. There are several loops, sites are mostly large, level, back-in, with varying degrees of separation and privacy. Sites have water and 30 amp services, but no sewer. There are dump stations and a honey bucket service twice a week if you don’t want to move your rig to dump. None of the roads are paved and it can be dusty in the summer. We like the natural setting and resident deer. 3 bars of 4G without a booster.
We do recommend putting down jack pads, we leveled and a few hours later noticed the rear jacks had sunk several inches into the soft ground. Not sure if this was just our site, but worth doing to avoid the hassle of re-leveling the coach. Note: Not a cheap date. Daily fee for an RV site is $49 + a $4/day resort fee + tax = $57.77 total. Several discounts are offered including Thousand Trails, Coach-Net, Enjoy America, FQCC, and Good Sam Club. I also used Passport America here in May but it wasn’t valid in July.
This area has a lot to offer – Bend (breweries!), High Desert Museum, Newberry National Volcanic Monument, Tumalo Falls, Lava River Cave, Deschutes River, Smith Rock…. we just need to schedule a month or so to play!

We are not always fans of Thousand Trails campgrounds, but this one is great! We typically like state parks with large and private sites. This TT park is more like a state park than an RV park and we had a great site that was large and private like we normally get at a state park. The park has nice amenities like tubing down the Little Deschutes river. It's also in a great location for visiting Sunriver and Bend. There is so much to do in this area, I wish we could have stayed longer. Tubing in Bend at the Deschutes River was lots of fun (not the same thing as the Little Deschutes at the campground). Newberry National Volcanic Monument is very close by. Verizon and AT&T both worked very well at this campground. The only downside is no sewer hookups at the campsites.

This is a good park for families (lots to do) and its convenient to a lot of outdoor activities. They have plenty of amenities and lots of activities for the kids. The staff works hard and the people are friendly.
But it doesn't get much dustier than this park. During the summer, there is little rain and the interior roads are gravel. Although there are 5mph signs everywhere, people drive too fast and there was a constant fog of dirt in the air during the day. We were there for three weeks and the dust was so bad we rarely sat outside. We will probably not go back because of the dirt.

Downpoint, no sewer. Lots of clean, working hot showers and bathrooms. Staff does a good job keeping up. Now that that is out of the way, highly recommend. Useful, and shockingly affordable priced convenience store on site. This park is in the heart of the amazing central Oregon outdoor lifestyle. It’s quite, large sites, treed, and semi private. Good ATT 4G. Great place to relax or set up base camp for an adventure at Mt. Bachelor or Newberry crater. Stunning crater lake is only about 90 min away. This is my “home park”. Take it from a local, great place to have an “outdoorsey“ experience.

Large park with many sites that are spread out pretty well. Campground was very quiet during our visit the week following Memorial Day weekend. The sites here are large and pretty level with plenty of trees around to give you that forest feel.
Laundry room was decent although pretty outdated. Showers were nice and the water was good and hot. Water pressure at our site was good but once you turned on a faucet it dropped dramatically. We had to utilize the campground showers so glad they were clean.
These are water electric only sites but there are two dump stations available.
Cell signal here was great with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. There is no WiFi at this park so be prepared if you need to be connected.
Camp store was very nice and seemed to have everything you might have forgotten for a camping trip, within reason of course.
Office lady was cold shouldered when we checked in, not very welcoming at all, which I suppose is neither here nor there since we didn't need to deal with any personnel during our stay. Just don't expect to be welcomed when you arrive.
Off leash dog area back by the river is huge and we really appreciated that for our Dane Maggie. This is a great park for families offering tennis and basketball courts, both kids and adult pools and a large building for family reunions etc.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. This area is simply awesome and beautiful.

Dusty roads and campers that drive too fast, including park employees. I called the office and they know it is an issue... too bad they have not fixed it. I should have paid more attention to previous reviews. The sites are good size, beautiful trees. If they travel the roads or water them down I will come back.

Park was ok, close to Bend and Sunriver. We didn’t spend much time there however others seemed to enjoy the activities. Lots to do in Bend and the surrounding areas, will definitely go back.
