The Riverhouse Motor Inn

This hotel is very nice. They just finished a major renovation of their rooms and restaurant. Its right on the river. Our room was in the building across the river from the main lodge and was connected by a covered bridge. They have an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a hot tub. The room was very clean and modern with a slight rustic touch. It was raining while we were there, so the indoor pool and hot tub was appreciated. One thing you should be aware of if you get a room with a fireplace is that you may experience a burning plastic smell. We had a fireplace but didn't use it, but when other rooms nearby used there's, we got a terrible smell coming through ours. I was told that the flue dampers were welded open. Not sure what's wrong with the venting, but something was not right. Other than that, everything was great.
