“urban panache & plush modern refinements!”
One of America’s best-kept secrets, Beaufort, South Carolina is an enchanting antebellum town on the Beaufort River. In the heart of the beautiful, historically rich backdrop of the South Carolina Lowcountry – site of the second European landing on American soil - this “Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands” boasts one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in America, and is one of the famed “Colonial Sisters” along with Charleston, S. C. and Savannah, Ga. Among the city’s stunning array of antebellum mansions, parks, and historic sites is The Rhett House Inn. The ca. 1820 Thomas Rhett House, the ca. 1864 Cottage, and Newcastle House blend the grace of the old South with urban panache and plush modern refinements. Discover what countless guests, travel writers, and celebrities have found: our unparalleled service, fine amenities, and breathtaking beauty, which are the signatures of this AAA Four Diamond Bed & Breakfast.
Booked this room 8 weeks in advance, called to confirm amenities 3 hours before arriving and were told they are overbooked upon arrival. They found us a room at a motel across the street, extremely disappointed that our room was given to someone else. Poor service, make an alternate plan before staying here.
