This is my family's absolute favorite KOA and quite possibly our favorite place to camp. The owners do an awesome job of making you feel at home here. Other campers are quiet and respectful. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is gorgeous and opens up to a private beach. You can easily collect seashells and when the tide is out you can look for oysters. On our visit we stayed in a yurt, it was lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in one again, super comfy. We have no complaints about this KOA, our stay was wonderful. We hope to visit again! --p.s. If you do stay here, take some time in the evening to star gaze. The sky here sparkles beautifully!

Camping was clean, friendly hosts. We were there just one night, enough to explore the area, there is not much to see. We found the negative point on this KOA campsite the number of dogs. You feel out of place if you have no dog. There was a lot of barking around us all day and since the lots are relatively small it was a problem. There was WiFi, but very week. To be fair, we were warned about this.

We had spent 2 nights here before 2 years ago and wanted to stay again. Easy Check in, easy Check out. Very spacious between sites, has a good laundry and store has unique items. The second day it rained off and on. My husband and 2 dogs took 2 walks down to the waters edge which is a Bay. Cell service (ATT) good and Internet fine also. Suggest you try and get back row spots more secluded we were in a pull through. Alot of shade in the back section.

Pretty little campground on the bay. Beautiful natural areas with a nice walk to the beach (note that the walk includes many steep stairs down the cliff). Not near 101, so no road noise. Seafood outlets and restaurant nearby. Many types of sites to choose from, from affordable to fancy. Most don’t offer much privacy, but with nice amenities.

Nice managers. Clean, well kept. Spaces cleaned well between guests. A lot of different site types as shown on map. Quiet. Lots of pull thrus. No tents on Rv sites but canopy ok. Some sites could use gravel for winter, may get muddy. If you spill water it makes mud spot. Willapa Bay access via steep staircase. It’s a small bay beach. Many sloughs locally are scenic and state parks in area. If elves are going to bug you, beware, they have many. 🙂

This was the first time that we had ever stayed at a KOA, so we were apprehensive. We were greeted by Karen who was so nice and helpful. Our firewood was delivered by Dennis, who was always helpful.
We loved our site which offered privacy and close proximity to the trailhead to the beach which was fantastic.
Karen set us up with "Clamming 101". We purchased the clamming package which had everything down to the wine and garlic to cook our intended bounty. At first I thought maybe it was wishful thinking, but we caught our limit. We purchased our license online at the campground.
The WiFi worked pretty well overall. No complaints and nothing but compliments to the staff at this campground. We will be back!

Well kept, quiet campground with lots of trees. Sites are well spaced and fairly level. Happy with our choice.
