Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 08, 2023I went to this park with friends years ago when it was only Thousand Trails and then went more recently after they converted a section of it into a KOA. The KOA campers have access and use of all the Thousand Trails amenities which is nice but the section that is the KOA and opened to the public without having to join Thousand Trails is not the best section of the overall campground. The overall campground is massive with hundreds of campsites. The KOA section is very cramped and when I was there I think I probably had the only reasonably large site that I only got by dumb luck. The only way I would go back is due to the convenience of it's location centrally located between Cincinnati and Indianapolis and we have friends in Indy we camp with quite often and since we live in Cinci this is a good meet up camping place. As far as the rest of the KOA section, the restrooms are adequate, the noise level was not too bad, there's an onsite restaurant, camp store and gas station. The restaurant is great for breakfast. The campground is not too bad for accessibility from the interstate. The clientele here seemed to be mostly working class men staying here while they worked away from home. Not really camping. The actual "campers" seem like partiers and low life's.

Only two miles off the interstate. We are seniors not interested in amenities and such. The sites are widely spaced and not on top of other campers. Lots of green space to walk dogs. You will need a golf cart to get around here. The campground is huge and combines with another one. Cannot comment on shower house, didn’t use. K8,9 and 10 are shaded early evening. No wifi, apparently it’s been absent for awhile. There is construction in several areas. ATT 5G two bars.

Clean and quiet. Stayed two nights tenting. Staff was very welcoming and had a nice store. Sites were well kept and shaded. Bathroom was very clean, and showers were ok (a little small and it took the water a long time to warm up). Bathroom cleaning time is 6-8 am which is not ideal for early risers, but fine if you plan accordingly. Didn't have time to take advantage of the on site pond or entertainment, but facilities looked nice. No WIFI at tent site, only a central hotspot.
