“Discover the role women played in the Civil War”
The WOMEN’S CIVIL WAR MUSEUM depicts the role women played during the Civil War. Many were nurses, some were even spies and soldiers, while many, of course, sustained the home life while their husbands fought at the battlefront. There are many original dresses on display, numerous other artifacts and countless stories that are told.
It is apart of the Civil War museum as a whole (admission covers both & lasts two days) and is a very cool and educational place. I personally went just for the women's civil war museum but if you're into war history they have it all!
