The Wharf Rat

The Wharf Rat is located in the heart of Fells Point, Baltimore just steps from the waters that were once host to one of the main sea ports on the East Coast. Our building dates back to the late 1700′s and is rumored to be haunted by a number of its old patrons, including a former landlord who was murdered in a duel in the early 1900′s. Sightings are most often in the second floor windows and the 12 foot working fireplace (a haven on those cold winter days).   If you chart a course for the shores of old Baltimore, put in, enjoy a pint or two and foods such as authentic English beer-battered fish and chips. You’ll find a warm welcome and a safe harbor.
