Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on December 29, 2023This is a basic, clean, no-frills stop over spot. Sites are pretty good size (25' wide, they say) and the office person says they never fill up. There are quite a few grody oldies in the park, but the overnighters are in one section. Nice paving for a fast bike ride round and round. We were afraid there might be a terrible smell in the park as we drove past a bunch of "dairy farms" with huge herds of cows and huge dung piles, but there either wasn't one close by, or the wind was very cooperative. This part of California is all about big mechanized farms, and can be unpleasant to the nose, but this campground had pretty purple-flowering trees and a nice breeze.

The best parts about this park is that it's very quiet, very little traffic going in and out. It's located just a couple miles south of the Bakersfield city limit in an agricultural area, and thus felt pretty safe to us. The 50 Amp service worked great, the water pressure was average, and the sewer hook up is right by the pedestal. Easy to pull into and get out, and every space is a pull through. At $27.00 a night (we paid $150.00 per week), it's the cheapest you're gonna find in Bakersfield with full hookups.
Not all sites have picnic tables, and there are no firepits here. Our picnic table was very old, and actually collapsed while my wife sat on it due to a weakened weld. While we didn't encounter any ants crawling into our RV, there are lots of flies, gnats, and mosquitoes about. The free Wi-Fi is weak and we couldn't get on to it. Verizon 4G came in at 2 bars for us (-105 to -109 db) but was still usable for Internet. At night, we opened our windows to give our air conditioner a rest, and we got the full smell of fertilizer from nearby farms.
There's little shade available in this park, and Bakersfield gets 100+ degrees F in the summers. This park desperately needs taller trees and more of them to make it tolerable.
Most folks at this park are monthlies, and many appear to be here permanently. There are, however, spaces for weeklies and overnighters. But the folks living this park swear by how great it is, mostly for the cheap rent, the quiet, and the security of being away from the population.
Carlos, the park manager, accommodated us well, and does a good job of keeping other RVers spaced apart well. The groundskeeper does a great job of keeping the grass mowed, weeds pulled, and shrubs trimmed.
OVERALL, for the low price, the full hookups, the quiet and security, it's a good deal for overnighters and long termers, but remember, you get what you pay for.

Pulled in here after hours and followed the drop slot instructions, which were very clear. There are quite a few long-term residents here, but the place is very big so you don't feel like you're intruding on them. There's a large "short-term" lot on the southern edge of the compound. Didn't use any of the facilities. There was a feint odor of livestock in the area, but I suppose that can't be helped.

When we are repositioning we want an easy access spot along the way. It is a bonus if the park is quiet, has good reception and is clean and safe. This park checked all the boxes for a quick nightly stay. We would stay here for overnight, but not plan on anything extended.
Big pull through sites allowed us to keep our tow vehicle attached (always a bonus when doing a quick overnight). All sites are gravel and fairly level.
There is the constant hum of I-5 traffic which is easily covered up by the air conditioner noise.
We used the laundry room which was nice, empty and good prices ($1.50 / $1.25).
We did not smell the livestock as another reviewer had mentioned.

After traveling a long day (north bound) and getting over the grapevine before snow fall, high winds and more rain, we found this place. Close to 99 (plus and minus depending on who you are), and without having to drive much further. Plus price was right at $29.00.
We arrived after hours @ 10 pm after calling ahead to make sure they had spots available. check in was easy for both of us, We were in spots 21 & 20. We stayed in the after hours area of the park.
Flat, level, pull through sites with full hookups, with some space between you and your neighbor. We both only hooked up to electricity.
Some freeway noise from 99 but not much, even in the morning when we were outside walking the dog. If you are very sensitive to noise you may notice more.
Slept in till 7 am, left around 10:30 am
We would definitely stay here again.

This is a good overnight stop, convenient to the major highways. I arrived before check-in time, but the owner saw me, and came out to open the office and check me in. The overnight sites are along one aisle at the south side. You do not get to chose a site when making a reservation, so if you arrive early, you get a site close to the office and laundry, and furthest from US-99, which is over the fence at the back. The later you arrive, the closer to US-99 and further from the laundry you will be camping.
The only complaint I had was about the gravel on the site. It was like cat litter, and stuck to everything when wet with the rain. Verizon 4G was OK, with 3 bars, 9 Mbps down and 3 up. The laundry was excellent, and only $1.50 to wash and $1.25 for 1 hour drying time.

This was the first stop of our nine day road trip. We got here around 7pm on a Sunday. Self check in was very easy to do. Be sure to have exact change for after hours check in. The park is nice, very level, some trees for shade, spaces are nice, clean & big. You can hear the freeway but it’s a constant hum that wasn’t bothersome to me. We would definitely stay here again!

As others have said, this is a quick and easy stop. The tip to have exact change for after hours check in is spot on. There is only one restroom, and the door to access it is locked between 9:15 pm and 6:30 am, so I was glad to have arrived shortly before 9! The building is under construction so maybe this won’t be an issue moving forward.
Only stayed for a quick overnight but everything was super clean, easy to access, and staff was very friendly
