“Solitude in nature”
Please check with the Forest Service for current fire restrictions before leaving home. As of June 8-10, 2018 A visitor reported the following: The lower campground and one restroom, R142, is open. Compliments to the Forest Service for excellent maintenance! During my stay only 3-4 vehicles came through to fish or picnic. By nightfall their were no other vehicles in the camp ground. Fishing was good with lures, small to pan-size stocked trout and wild browns. There are two new beaver ponds between the bridge and the concrete barrier. If you go, check the fire restrictions -- NO CAMP FIRES, NO SMOKING! Keep our beloved WF clean, pack out your trash, be respectful of our forest and your neighbors. HAVE FUN this summer and be safe!
