“The trip your RV was made to go on”
This is the trip your RV was made to go on. Trailer Village® RV Park is the only in-park RV park with full hookups and it's incredibly close to the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Set within a high desert landscape, the Trailer Village RV park is a paved pull-through site perfect for vehicles up to 50 feet long. Best of all, it's open year-round.
This is the perfect place to stay if you want to camp near the Grand Canyon. We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. It was so beautiful! Just know that you need to make your reservations months in advance!!! When I originally tried to book, they were full. But I kept checking back in daily and one a spot opened up. I think people book several days not knowing exactly when they will be there and then let the dates go that they don't need.
Perfect location for Grand Canyon. The bus comes right to this park to go to all of the stops and sights. The park had an elk that wandered all around eating grass and whatever else he could find. It was fun to see where he would be and how close he got and for us it was in the next camper spot! Made for great pictures and we followed the rules and didn't bother him. The only downside- no showers here. You have to drive to the next campground and then pay $2 per shower. It worked, just not ideal if you prefer to shower in the provided facilities. I would stay here again.
Perfect place to stay at the grand canyon. You are in the park and directly next to most of the trails. Easy walk to the rim.
This park is pretty awesome, not really any amenities but watching the Elk come into your campsite and eat leaves off the tree and drink water from people’s hookups was AMAZING .. totally worth it just because of the Elk . Kiddo loved it !
Perfect place for proximity to the South Rim Visitor center. The sites are well placed and great. Woke up to find a Elk grazing outside our RV and saw wild horses not far away too. It was an easy walk to the shuttle station and quick drive to the Hermits shuttle station. Overall, I would have loved to stay longer and when I return to the Grand Canyon will only stay here.
The campgrounds were nice enough. Exacy what you would expect, but most the amenities were closed due to COVID. This is fine but none of this was advertised during booking. The showers and laundry were closed. How can the park still charge regular and full price when you get half the amenities?
Better than I expected! It is a bit of a parking lot, but it's clean, well organized, and there is so much to see and do, so we didn't spend much time at the campground. Very convenient trails to the GC visitor's center and sidewalks and trails to the grocery store and other spots. Great spot for walking and bike riding. The elk also made it lots of fun. Absolutely no AT&T connection anywhere, even though I had three bars.
Fantastic place. Walking to the rim, the market, post office, etc...good spots, lovely view of the stars.... *****
We stayed in the sites on the right side of the road as you pull in. These seemed to be on the poor side of the road - mostly busted up asphalt and gravel; while the left side of the road had concrete and cable tv (not available on our side). But that was just a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay again as it is so convenient to the shuttle for the South Rim. Close to the supply store and laundry facilities as well. The folks in the check-in booth were very helpful and even helped us to stay an extra night because a snow storm was going to make it too dangerous for us to continue to our next stop on the North Rim - and this was towards the end of May!
Very nice layout of camp sites. All sites are paved for easy setup and leveling. Very clean.
Never seen an Elk turn on a faucet to get a drink before but I saw it here. If you see Elk leave them alone and just observe, they can and will attack if they feel threatened.
Be sure to check around the electric box for your cable connection. There was no mention of it on arrival and we found it the next day.
THERE IS NO ATT PHONE SERVICE IN THIS PARK HOWEVER YOU CAN GET SERVICE AT THE TOP OF GRAND CANYON. GO FIGURE.
