Yard Dog Folk Art

We opened Yard Dog Gallery in Austin, TX, in September 1995. At that time we showed folk and outsider art from the American South. Over the years our interests broadened and the ranks of genuine folk artists shrank and we grew into a different gallery. Today we're unconcerned with categories:  we show art by many contemporary artists whose backgrounds run the gamut from self-taught to art school graduate.
