Scholz Garten is the oldest restaurant/live music venue in Texas. Established in 1866, we've been serving the Austin community for almost a century and a half. Scholz's Biergarten has been host to political fundraisers, charity fundraisers, school fundraisers, business meetings, before and after game tail-gaiting, radio broadcasts, TV broadcasts and commercials, movie nights and previews, bar mitzvahs, birthday celebrations, musical events, election nights, wake celebrations, high school reunions, weddings, wedding rehearsals, wedding receptions...and many more kinds of events.
