The Space Home is just 10 minutes from Augusta Civic Center  Private bedroom on second floor in owner's home. Full bedroom with bureau and closet.  There is a twin bed in the room for additional guest. Bedding washed after every guest.  Room overlooks gardens and grassy backyard. On street parking.  Renovated first floor bath room with tub and shower,  Half bath on second floor. Deb is the founding member of the Laughing Out Loud Ladies, based in Augusta, ME. Full Dining room and comfortable living room with TV and cable. Kitchen has cafe table for cozy breakfast meals.  Muffins, coffee, tea, juice available in morning if you have time to sit and chat before moving on to your next adventure. You will have plenty of space to do your own thing. I will give you the amount of privacy you want. If you enjoy a more social approach to traveling, I am happy to sit and chat. Wireless internet access.  Dead end street in quiet neighborhood.  Walking distance to state capital building. Five minutes to highway I 95.  Numerous hiking and walking trails, Pine Tree Arboretum, historic water front, churches, University of Maine Augusta, 30 minutes to Kennebec Community College, Colby and Thomas Colleges. Plenty of shopping, theaters, and cultural activities. Walking distance to historic Hallowell with bakeries, restaurants and antique shopping. Day trip to Portland, Rockland, Belfast, Sugarloaf, Bethel, Acadia NP, skiing, swimming, boating,fishing and relaxing. Close to many of the Fall Maine Fairs, Common Ground, Skowhegan, Pittston, Farmington, Windsor, Union---spend the day at the fairs--return to rest. Augusta airport 5 minutes away with connections to Boston.  Greyhound Bus and Concord Trailways 10-20 minutes away. I have 2 cats, one very friendly, likes laps. The other one is shy. They do not go out.
