“the world's largest bull”
Albert the Bull, the world's largest bull, is located on the south edge of Audubon. This concrete and steel structure saluting the area's beef industry is 30 feet tall and weighs 45 tons. Enjoy the nearby sand volleyball court, outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Play golf at the Audubon Golf and Country Club, ride or walk the 21-mile hard-surfaced T-Bone Trail. See the John James Audubon statue and Veteran's Memorial in the city park, and the WPA mural at the post office. The John James Audubon Bird Walk has tile mosiac replicas of Audubon bird prints inlaid in the sidewalks. The Art Deco Audubon County courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Audubon Cultural Center/Library displays a large doll collection and antique toys. For more information, contact Audubon County Tourism at 712-563-2742
The campsite fee is reasonable. Lots of campsite is available. The campground is clean. There were lot of good conditioned facilities like the restrooms were clean, the playground was nice, drinking water is available, dump station, sewer, and etc. There were also a volleyball court and tennis courts. My favorite was the outdoor swimming pool.
