Amsterdam Café opened in the early 1990's. It was originally designed to showcase the founder's hand made Shulbok tables. Cold draft Heinilten was a trademark, and the smoky little joint quickly became a local hangout for students, faculty and locals. The original owner sold to the Cleveland Family in l998, and changes began in menu, renovation and size. Oi utmost value to the new owners was preserving the Van Gogh inspired theme and artwork.
