“featuring a high-end Southern-style menu”
“Serious foodies” seeking “interesting” “farm-to-table” grazing praise this “innovatively simple” Inman Park American where chef-owner Robert Phalen (Holy Taco) serves a “whimsical” menu that includes “lots of meats” and “incredible pickled vegetables”; decor that’s heavy on antlers and taxidermy fits with the “quirky” vibe, and though a “perfect fit” for some, others shrug it’s “not for everyone.” -http://www.zagat.com/r/one-eared-stag-atlanta

If you're looking for some of the boldest, most adventurous cooking in town, One Eared Stag delivers in droves. The menu changes frequently, but chef Robert Phalen's talent for balancing flavors in creative ways always shines through. A recent hit is his "dirty farro," a play on dirty rice with a hefty dose of chicken liver providing an unmistakably funky (and addictive) profile.
