“It's Burger Time in Atlanta!!”
Holeman and Finch Public House is just that, a public house. The arrangement of the tables and the seating in the establishment encourages conversation and communion—a sense that this is a community gathering. The menu is set up the same way. A meal here might be one or two items for one person or several items served up to share with companions or your neighbor seated at the bar. here are items on the menu that have been there since day one, and will remain there; because sometimes, you want to go to a place and taste the familiar—it’s comforting. There is room on the menu for playful exploration as well. In an effort to return to classic techniques that provide the restaurant’s pantry with house-made, house-cured and house-preserved items, made with seasonal ingredients, we have discovered ways to deliver traditional offerings that seem modern and new. Our menu is a tip of the hat to the historic recipes that pubs, bistros and yes, Southern kitchens have served for hundreds of years and at the same time, points to what it tastes like to live and eat well in Atlanta, Georgia right now. The hope is that you will enjoy food here that is hearty and comfortable but also things that perhaps you have never tried or even heard of before. It is exciting for us to cook for you, serve you, pour wine and pints and craft cocktails for you.
Great food and cocktails. Valet parking as well.
Holeman & Finch is both a great place to drink excellent craft cocktails and a great place to eat ambitious Southern pub fare. Famous for their 10 p.m. burger (the 24 burgers don't come out until 10 p.m. each night, but if you arrive later than 9 p.m., your chances of getting one are slim). The cocktail list changes, but ask for a Southern Cola cocktail made with cane sugar Coca Cola, Italian amaro and a lime juice ice cube--a signature item here in the hometown of Coca Cola.
