“pretty sweet little patch”
Deb started the business in 1993, with a desire to give the town a place that served healthy home cooking quickly and efficiently with a nice down home family atmosphere. On Aug 17, 2010 her dream nearly ended due to a horrible fire that destroyed our Country Patch. With the determination of Deb, and her husband Jimmy Gunn, her Daughter Savannah Baker and her employees she was able to rebuild and we are now back in business especially in a downed economy. We are back serving healthy home cooked meals for our extended family of customers to enjoy. Yes, we consider our customers an extension of our family we love you all and if it weren't for them the rebuild would not have been possible.
Awesome home cooked meals made from scratch! Just the way mamaw would have done it. Homemade cakes and pies! And the best sweet tea in this part of Tennessee. When in Athens you need to stop by. Meals are under 10.00. Most average 8.99 or so.
