“raising Holstein cows on the same homestead since 1930”
Homeland Creamery is family owned and operated by the Bowmans. We are seventh generation farmers and have been raising Holstein cows on the same homestead that have operated the dairy since the 1930’s when our grandfathers’ family started selling “barnyard milk” from a half-dozen dairy cows that were milked by hand. The herd has now grown to over 200 cows and the cows are milked with automatic milking machines twice a day. The cows are our family too!
We called this place to make a reservation to take the tour and they didn't call us back for two days so we missed it.
