“a baseball lover's heaven”
It doesn't have to be game day to make a trip to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (formerly Ameriquest Field and the Ballpark in Arlington). Open year round, the Legends of the Game Baseball Museum and Learning Center displays the bats, jerseys, trophies and other paraphernalia of baseball greats. With areas for study, including pitching, slugging, managing and uniforms, the museum is a baseball lover's heaven. There are exhibits on Texas Rangers history, the Negro League and the Texas League. The Learning Center uses baseball as a vehicle for teaching kids science, math, history, geography and communications. For an additional charge, they also offer tours of the ballpark that include looks inside the clubhouse, press box, batting cages, owner's suite and dugout.
