“A new taste of the old world”
Pomodoros offers an authentic Mediterranean experience in the heart of Western NC - Asheville. Drawing our inspiration from the countries of Greece and Italy, we tempt the palate with three separate menus (Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch). Pomodoros is a labor of love for Tommy Tsiros. His father is an immigrant from Greece, born in the village of Nostimo (delicious in Greek). Tommy got his first education working in his father's restaurants and when an opportu- nity arose, Tommy purchased a downtown deli and operated it for ten years. Though the deli was successful, Tommy yearned to open his own restaurant from scratch. From his Mediterranean background and his love for food and wine, Tommy created Pomodoros Greek and Italian Café. His philosophy is to produce a quality experience in every aspect from the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food. That is why when you walk into Pomodoros you will feel taken care of from the first moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
