Steller House B&B

Steller House Bed and Breakfast (and now Stella B&B) is located at 3990 Gleaner Hall Road on the quiet north side of Ann Arbor.  The B&B is located just 3 miles north of the University of Michigan Hospital and 3 miles from down town Ann Arbor. Gleaner Hall was built in the mid 19th century, and was the original Gleaner's Hall a place for local farmers to store and trade their supplies.  As the gleaners became fewer and fewer the building was turned into a beer and dance hall.  Rumor has it BOB SEGER  played here, (“before the Silver Bullet” we were told.)  The old hall was closed in 1968.  In the early nineties it was refinished and modernized, adding a fireplace, and central air.  We have the best of the old and the new. The menu at Steller House is always enticing and LOCALLY GROWN!  Read our reviews, we love to cook and it shows.  Based on what looks good at the market, what's in season, and what you like to eat, Hillary will discuss the choices for breakfast with you in the evening, and create a unique meal specifically for you.Steller House Bed & Breakfast features 2 spacious modern rooms, with central air, ceiling fans, a canopy bed with a plush pillow top mattress and a wrought iron bed with a tempered foam mattress, hand crafted desks, hand made quilts, wireless internet, cable TV, roomy closets, plenty of board games, puzzles, and quiet evenings.  The west facing Solar Room offers terrific sun light all day, and the east facing Lunar Room has more subdue light.  The rooms share 1 and a half baths.  Off street parking is provided.
