Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 29, 2021We camped here on our way through the state. Very pleased with the spacious and private sites. We had a small stream running behind our site that our kids loved exploring. The little pond is plenty big enough for a small swimming beach and lots of room for kayaks and row boats. We put our paddle board in and had a great loop around the pond. There are also a few trails nearby- most are quite hilly due to the terrain. There are also primarily walk in sites along the back side of the pond that looked fantastic. Lots of trees everywhere for hammocks.

We timed our visit perfectly for Fall Foliage season. The park, which offers tons of private sites with lots of trees, was absolutely breathtaking during end of September.
+ Gorgeous 1 mile loop trail around little pond (pro-tip, take the yellow trail branch an extra 5 mins to see an incredible 6' beaver dam)
+ Super clean bathrooms (free showers)
+ Nice fire pits
+ Private sites
+ Kayak and boat rentals (but kind of pricey, starting at $15/day)
+ Catskills brewery 20 mins away
- Firewood is $9 and there is no where else to buy along the way!
- Bring all your supplies! Nearest grocery store is ????
- No cell service for Google Fi.

Loved this campsite!
We had a nice spot next to the playground which our little one loved. Lots of hiking options available. Hikes/ walks ranged from easy to challenging so something for everyone.
We camped with a 29’ foot camper and despite fitting in the spot it was a little tough and challenging to get it in due to the narrow roads. As we walked around we noticed more tents than trailers.
Overall it was very quiet and relaxing. Also, it is worth noting there is absolutely no cell service what so ever. We have AT&T and a Verizon MIFI and neither had signal. Lost signal approximately 10 miles from the camp grounds while heading there.
