Anaconda Smelter Stack

This is the largest freestanding brick structure in the world, and stands like a lonely massive sentry over the valley. It is enormous; the Washington Monument would easily fit inside. You can't get within a mile because the ground is toxic, but the little state historic site/viewpoint is definitely worth a 30 minute side trip.
