Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 19, 2022Great location to be able to walk around town. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Sites were quite close to each other, reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. But overall was a nice quiet place to spend the night and enjoy the town.
We were in this area of Montana and needed a hook up spot so we called and they had one spot left. The place is pretty run down, half of the park is mobile homes, which are also run down. Overall, I just didn't feel safe there -- which is why I wouldn't stay there again, or recommend it. But if you need a full hook up spot for one night in the area, it might be your only option.

Most sites had long term folks. I only saw 2 open sites. Not very long and relatively narrow.

We were a little apprehensive after reading previous reviews. We had a different experience all together. The owner was one of the friendliest guys. He met us and helped us get set up. The previous camper took the heating element from the water line, and he rushed home to get what he needed to fix that for us. He also recommended places to eat in town. He called and checked on us after diner to make sure we were all settled in.
The other reviews are correct about 2 permanent mobile homes, but they were well taken care of and clean. There is a pet area and a trail for walking. It’s “in town” but being up against the mountain made it feel more country. The spaces weren’t too tight either.

During our travels through Montana we observed that it is still pretty wild and so are its RV parks! LOL
However this is exactly why we like it...including its simple and almost spartan RV parks. This park is nothing fancy - you won't find a recreation room, high speed Internet, a swimming pool or a hot tub. It had all we needed though - clean bathrooms/showers and a washer/dryer. It is also within short walking distance to historic downtown, yet is still on the outskirts and very quiet. I will rate it 5 stars because of the following (not necessarily in the order of importance) - incredibly pretty and peaceful location (perched between the cliff and a cute creek), the helpfulness of the manager Roland and great weekly rate. Absolutely do not agree with reviews stating that full timers make the place look run down. Yes there are a few full timers, but every park we visited so far had full time people, and they are totally fine! The site was a little tight for our 42 ft 5th wheel, but after some manoeuvering we parked and leveled it okay.
We would wake up every morning and go for a bike ride along the creek following the bike path that is right next to the campground leading to awesome peaceful Washoe park that is over 100 years old, with the duck pond, baseball field, trout hatchery, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a bunch of wild deers roaming around! At night from our back door we would hear Warm Springs creek murmuring and watch the starry sky. We loved everything there - Anaconda is absolutely charming and peaceful town with friendly locals, amazing architecture and tons of history! We spent a week there and couldn't get enough of it! We'll be coming back in a heartbeat.

So this place was awesome must have been cleaned up over the years. Does have a few fulltime residents clean RV’s, but whole front row of pull thrus changed almost daily while we were there. Sites are a little tight A is best. Good wi-if! Right next to Bubbling stream that I could go to sleep to. Deer all over park and town! Lol Church bells in town chimed every hour, soothed my soul!

We only stopped for one night on way to Glacier. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Easy walk around small cute town. Full hook up, tight space but fine for a night. River is just across the road and trail to park and downtown.

I called last minute as we usually boondock, but we decided to stop for a round of golf in Anaconda and spending the night In an RV park is easy. Tony is the manager and he met us at the entrance, got us all settled in and was really cordial. He even helped me get backed into my spot. I almost wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be full timing in a few years and this park will be on our list or places to return to. It is a small park situated between a rocky cliff and a small creek running along a city park. It had full hook-ups but we only used the electricity. It has bathrooms and a dumpster. Cost was $39. A night. We have a 38’ class A and I got in fine, we parked our toad under the tree behind our space. My cell service worked (T Mobile). Hospitality was outstanding and you can’t beat the price.

We had a Harvest Host spot at the golf course but it was hot & we wanted hookups for AC, so we drove to this RV Park to see if there was a spot. It was packed with what seemed to be permanent residents with multiple trucks on one side and mobile homes on the other. It was too crowded and gave off a sketchy vibe, so we left immediately. I definitely would not stay here.
