“The future of service in the desert”
Make your Death Valley vacation a memorable one. This full-service Casino Resort is your Nevada Headquarters for exploring Death Valley National Park. Located just moments away from Death Valley Junction with a magnificent view of the Funeral Mountains.
Stayed two nights to explore Death Valley. It's not really the best "jump-off" spot for Death Valley but it was all we could get on short notice.
As far as RV park - thats is..... a gravel RV park with services. At check in we were were told "the park is in a little disrepair so if anything doesn't work (elect., water, cable) at your side, go ahead and move to another.
Did not try the cable; electric worked; water pressure really bad.
Decided to eat in the "steak house" for dinner - Valantines. Ordered the valentines special - $50.00 per couple. Appetizer either shrimp cocktail or potato skins - "oh no, just one to share." Had shrimp cocktail with 5 shrimp - not 4 or 6, five. I had the filet mignon which came with baked potato and 3 asparagus. Choice of Trio Leche Cake or Raspberry cheese cake for desert - "only one, you share." Food was so so and was just made worse by the terrible service.
The worst was when leaving. In the web site photos, there is a beautiful pond behind the casino / hotel - have to walk by it to get back to the RV park - Its a duck pond. The smell was so bad, we were close to loosing our dinner! Be careful you don't step in duck poo also.
Overall, a basic place to stop and stay the night if need be.
