We stayed here over much of the winter because of the location. It's very close to Ash Meadows NWR where we were volunteering. It's also a good base for exploring the area being about half way between the north eastern and south eastern entrances to Death Valley via Beatty or Shoshone. The park itself is a little run down, though they were making some improvements to the landscaping. The surface is dirt which turns to soft mud in the rain. We had no problems with utilities. It's located in back of the hotel/casino near the highway, but traffic is light and road noise was never an issue. Staff varied from very helpful and pleasant to "why are you bothering me?" There is a small store with snacks and basic supplies in the hotel. The cafe food is OK, but not outstanding. It is a bit of a drive for gas or groceries, 17 miles for gas and 35 for groceries. If you are continuing south on Ca127 and are low on gas, go back North the 17 miles to the Area 51 gas, diner, and brothel to fill up. Gas in Shoshone to the South was 3.99 a gallon in early April.
WiFi was spotty as was Verizon coverage.

Pulled into this place for a few nights when visiting Death Valley. The park is nice and level and all pull-throughs which is a plus. There is a pool there that looks nice and a hot tub but it was not heated so we could not go in, it was freezing. The laundry room they have in the hotel was terrible. It took three times in the dryer to get one load of laundry dry. The washers are also very small. Other than that the receptionist was nice and we were able to get our money back since we left one night early.

There is nothing here but the casino. Any other buildings have been closed for a while. Makes for wide open spaces and quiet nights.

Our site was mostly level gravel. Sites are pull-through with FHU 50 amps. All utilities worked well. No shade, no picnic table. Fire pit at the casino. Swimming pool looks nice. Others were using the hot tub so it must be working.

Restaurant food was quite good although the kitchen was slow. Server friendly and attentive. Smells like smoke because it's in the casino, but it wasn't too bad.

WiFi was good compared with many parks.

The "petting zoo" is a burro, a sheep, and a water buffalo in a small pen. Pretty sad really.

The 360 degree mountain views are stunning with beautiful sunsets. The two ponds are very nice with koi and ducks and geese.

100 yards from the California border with easy access to Death Valley. Fill up with fuel before you get here.

Who would've thunk a casino all by itself in the middle of a valley? A small casino with plenty of rooms and RV spots. There is FHU/50, pool, laundry, showers, cafe and live entertainment on weekends. The site is gravel and level, pull thru. Showers are very clean and nice. laundry room is clean and machines work well. Cell and wifi is good and the park has free wifi. The property has wonderful statuary and old western artifacts that make it interesting to walk the property. The casino is small but I won $100! The cafe has a good menu and the food was tasty. Bob Lucas entertained us with country and pop tunes. There is a dance floor and lounging areas to enjoy the music.
Death Valley and Ash Meadows are within driving distance so this is a good base camp. I gave it 4 stars because of the weird location and not for anything negative.

Great place for what we were looking for, full hookups close to Death Valley, and open as all California rv parks are closed at the time of visit due to COVID. The previous reviews had me a little concerned but the park was clean and had great sunset views and large sites. Very big rig friendly, nice little cafe and bar/casino. Free WiFi but no cell service. I would gladly stay again!

If you want to visit Death Valley and are unable to camp in California, this location right over the border in Nevada is a good choice.

We chose this location as a plan B when our Furnace Creek reservations were cancelled due to state conditions. Since Death Valley National Park was still open for exploration during the day, the Longstreet Casino offered decent proximity (about a 50 minute drive),
as well as access to the Rhyolite Ghost Town and several other attractions we planned for our itinerary.

RV sites are mostly pull thru on a gravel and dirt combo lot. There are also a few back in sites. Full hook ups are offered here. The only thing that wasn’t working for us was the cable TV, which was just as well since we don’t travel with the intention of watching TV. The landscape surrounding the campground is a large barren patch of land, quite beautiful actually if you appreciate southwest topography. We found the campground to be very quiet during our stay.

Inside the casino is a modest mini market with mostly snack type foods, sodas and assortment of several other items for purchase. A modest casino, bar and restaurant round out the indoor offerings.

Outside, there is a 24 hour fuel station and access to propane. And the kiddies will like the small petting zoo with a bovine, goats, sheep and a few donkeys. We grabbed a handful of hay to offer the friendly animals some munchies.

We almost selected a location in Beatty but were immensely thankful we did not as that area received a smacking of snow during our stay while the Longstreet Casino area just had a bit of rain. Nice not to worry about freezing RV pipes.

Driving in late on our way from Denver to Death Valley we needed a place for the night and a place to do a few hours work the next morning with Wi-Fi and/or cell service. Based on the Campendium review we came here. Mostly large RVs and motorhomes but our pop-up fit in fine. Got 15 MB Internet service and good Verizon cell service. Showers inside were clean and good. They even gave us towels and shampoo at the front desk. We did not eat here but they have a restaurant that was busy. They have gas pumps, propane, and a decent RV type grocery store. Being just across the state line in Nevada from California there is a bar and casino. Quiet at night. No fire pits.

Location: Used as home base to visit Death Valley, Ash Meadows, and Rhyolite. Worked reasonably well, was a 45 minute or longer drive to any place. I'm not sure there are many other options aside from staying in the park itself that would have been ay better since the NP is so large and spread out.

Site: Clean, well run, well spaced out, great view, very quiet.

Wifi: Was both best and worst I've experienced. Was strong signal throughout, reasonably fast, but frequent jitters and disconnects made video conferencing for work impractical. Audio only worked sometimes.
Unfortunately, did not get any cell signal in area as a backup so MiFi hotspot, text messaging, and cell phone tethering was ineffective.

This is a nice base to visit Death Valley if camping at the park doesn’t work out for you. It is 45-60 min or so to the sites southeast and up to Furnace Creek. Nearest grocery is 27 mi away but there is a convenience store and restaurant onsite in a pinch. Casino consists of slot machines in the quirky lobby full of western antiques. Laundry was handy but cost me $18 for 3 loads. Loved the duck pond and the view of mountains from the RV. Very quiet and peaceful. Able to stream with WiFi.
