“This place really is a family cafe!”
A very friendly and homey place where you're really a part of the community. The Bear Wallow Cafe is owned and managed by Vada Davis and her daughter Nataani Harper. But the family doesn't stop there. Taani's sister,Natalia, is often found waiting tables on weekends when she isn't busy with her own shop, the Blue Bird, down in Springerville. Next we have Taani's hard working girls Talee Jo & Sarah who bus tables, make coffee, do hostess duty, and a whole lot more. They are joined by Natalia's daughter, Isabella, who often comes to work with her Grandma and lends a hand. Then there are the boys! Nataani is lucky enough to have boys who are always handy when there is heavy work, weed pulling, and other restaurant work to be done. They are Thomas, Turner, and Jobe. Taani's oldest, Max, was a fixture at the cafe until his untimely death in 2008. And this year Talee Jo gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Ryder Lee. That makes it Four Generations at the Bear Wallow Cafe! The Bear Wallow really is a family cafe!
