The 40 Winks Motel is located in Alpena Michigan. We have a great location right across the street from Starlight Beach on beautiful Lake Huron. Some rooms do have a great lake view. These rooms do tend to go fast so reservations are recommended. Hospitality is our number one priority, you are greeted with a warm and friendly smile the minute you arrive. The Barnes Family is ready to make your stay an enjoyable experience. We take great pride in offering clean and comfortable accommodations at an affordable price .

BEWARE OF CANCELLATION POLICY! Despite calling on June 15 to cancel a reservation for AUGUST, we are still being charged $600.

Very disappointed. Did not stay the night. Paid for the room and went somewhere else. I did not ask for refund since I had reserved the room. The room smell like cat urine. The TV cable electronics were laying everywhere. From the pictures it looked like a cute motel. Oh well we took a chance, from now on I'll stick to the well known motels
