“Great campsite with fishing, kayaking, and more.”
Open from April through October, our 8-acre campground is located right on the banks of the Greenbrier River with tree-lined RV sites and wooded riverside tent camping. Established in 1989, we take special pride in the slogan "First on the River." Our campers have access to a thousand feet of riverfront owned by the campground for great fishing and one of the best swimming holes on the river. We also offer full-service tubing, kayak and canoe trips. We're in the very heart of the best paddling waters on the Greenbrier. There's Class I thru Class III action, all within our immediate area and for all levels of paddling skill.

Beautiful spot right on the river, High enough that it shouldn’t flood. Traffic driving through can be noisy at times and the coal train is loud. Staff were extremely friendly and there was no issue with other campers. WiFi is slow and crashes a lot and there is no cell phone service, so bring a nice book.

They do keep it very clean. The staff is super nice. It's small with only back ins. It's nestled between a busy back road and a constantly used railroad track. Very loud. Zero cell service. Analog poor cable. Useless wifi. I just think it should be half this price. There's nothing around there to do.

Nice family run campground on a beautiful river.
The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Nice camp store. Bathrooms are clean and modern. RV sites have all utilities including TV (but who would want it in this beautiful area!). The sites are small and the campground is nestled between a road and a moderately busy train track. We were aware of these during the day, but it was quiet at night. There is lots to do here! The offer Corn Hole, volleyball, basketball courts, a great playground, and then there are all the river activities! There is no dump station but most RV sites have sewer. We prefer campgrounds with larger sites, but other than that, this is a wonderful little gem. Office hours are 9:30 to 5, and the campground fills up. Be sure to call for reservations during the day!
