We stayed 4 nights to get our motorhome fixed during the day at a near-by Camping World. This place is super clean and people are very friendly. Level paved sites are way better than dirt at a nearby park. It is away from the city, but we like that!
Stayed 2 nights and will definitely stay again! Very nice layout of facility, and nice clean facilities. Beautiful sunrises!
This has become our Go-To place to stay in ABQ. It is actually not in ABQ, but part of the Laguna Pueblo about 10ish miles west of ABQ, off I-40on the way to Gallup. Both my husband and I are UNM alumni and we have family and friends in ABQ, so we find ourselves visiting about once a month. Route 66 RV Resort is a perfect base camp because it is so easy to access from I-40. Of all the campsites we have stayed at, and there are many, this is by far the cleanest and friendliest. At Thanksgiving 2021, some of our ABQ friends drove out to see us after arriving and they raved over the scenic views, the clean restrooms, and the layout of the resort. We love it so much that we even have a certain spot that we like to request and they have always tried to accommodate us! I highly recommend staying here.
Our family of six (in a 32' RV) was supposed to stay at another Albuquerque RV park but the reservation wasn't honored. We had traveled 400 miles and it was almost 7 pm. Three calls to other sites left us out in the cold . Then I called Route 66 and a pleasant young woman said they had room. What a blessing in disguise!! Immaculate place, brand-spanking new everything!!! Prime site! Sadly, no pool but, who cares?! Economical to boot! Can't say enough about this wonderful place...wait til you see the Club House, showers & laundry!!
The person on the phone was super friendly and called to see when we would be arriving. She notified us the casino was closed to non-new Mexico residents. This was not a huge deal although kinda sucky cause there isn’t anything else to do but we’re only here for the night. Check in was easy but the people actually in front of us were not as nice as the person on the phone, kinda felt they were annoyed with us. They did show us to our spot.
Unfriendly, ignorant people! Welcome to a concrete jungle! Casino but no access to non residents! What is there to do in a concrete jungle???!!! BS place! JOKE!! Campers beware to be trapped in your Rvs...welcome to Albuquerque NM concrete jungle! 😞
