A beautiful 6,334 square foot residence of Southwestern adobe construction, with beamed ceilings, kiva fireplaces, dark red brick floors, and extensive Mexican tile work. Situated in a semi-rural setting in the Rio Grande Valley near Albuquerque, with views of the magnificent Sandia Mountains. Adobe & Roses is a lovely, peaceful, and private bed and breakfast tucked away in a corner of Albuquerque you could never find without directions. Your host, Dorothy Morse, has created a beautiful retreat boasting lovely gardens, a small pond with water lilies, and comfortable guest rooms with tasteful furnishings. Each of the three rooms has its own entrance, Free WiFi, a Mexican-tiled kitchenette, spacious bathroom, a kiva fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and geraniums blooming in the windowsill. You'll sleep in the luxury of down comforters and pillows (nights are chilly at 5,000 feet), and you'll have your own heating and cooling system to adjust to your comfort. The private suite is in a wing of the main house and includes a TV and piano in the sitting room. The adobe guesthouse has two accommodations that are available either separately or together. One lodging unit has a bedroom with king bed, a sitting room with kitchenette, and fireplace. The other unit is one large room with twin beds, kitchenette, and kiva fireplace. Breakfast is served on the guesthouse portal, or, if you wish, the meal can be brought directly to your room. There is always freshly ground coffee and/or tea, juices, fruit, and homemade breads or coffee cakes; heartier fare is available if desired.
