Albany Hardware Bed NO Breakfast

Part of a former hardware store now a one of a kind loft getaway. I converted this space for a weekend getaway for myself. I tried to be as green as possible by recycling and re purposing building materials. A big 1980s bar, 1950s Metal kitchen, 1930s Ben Hur freezer converted to an island stove plus mostly recycled door, windows, light and bath fixtures. 1500 total square feet. The main area is appx. 1000 sq ft with 12 foot ceilings. The executive suite has a queen size bed and there are the Pullman Junior suites, They are 60 and 70 sq ft sleeping alcoves. There is an indoor parking area for motorcycles, bikes, canoes or snowmobiles. I have 5 bicycles available so you can ride the trails. I am on the doorstep of SW Wisconsin adventures. A few blocks away you can get on a bike trail nework with over 200 miles of trails, the Sugar River is across the street for tubing fishing or canoe/kayaks. The Swiss town of New Glarus and its acclaimed brewery are 20 minutes away. The Driftless area has some of the best motorcycling roads in the central Midwest. Historic Mineral Point, House on the Rock, Frank Lloyd Wrights Taliesin and many other activities and attractions are an easy drive. In the winter hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails are at the door. For some culture you are 30 miles south of the wonderful collage town and state captial of Madison.
