“The best place to be!”
Our motto is "The Best Place to be is Abilene RV!" Our RV Park is a very peaceful, well-established park located on the east side of Abilene, just outside the city limits. As new managers, we took over the park in 2007 with the park being under new ownership. As soon as we moved in, the work began! Our park has been completely remodeled and upgraded to accomodate the beautiful big rigs, as well as the cute little rigs and all those in between! It looks beautiful and feels comfortable!

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on February 26, 2018We stayed there one night on our way to Palo Duro Canyon. The park is clean, but when pulling in it is a hard turn in front of the office. It does have easy access of I20. The space was a little short for our motorhome and tow vehicle. Very friendly staff, and though we didn't use it, there is a very nice pool area. Quite a few full timers, and this usually brings the parks down in appearance. It was raining when we left and the road was very sloshy.

Manager is very nice. Has a very nice pool area, clean rest rooms and showers. Nice clean laundry. We were in a 37’ motorhome with toad. Been there several times. Easy access to town and airport.

We stopped here to break up the long drive across Texas. I wish we could have stayed a couple of days to explore Abilene. Anyway, this park is older, the staff is very friendly, and the landscaping is nice. The sites are kind of short for our 32' rig and tow, so we parked the tow next to the office. Easy on/off the interstate with some traffic noise. The wifi was great (maybe because we were next to the office). We got 18 TV channels on our antenna. Since we were just stopping over, we didn't use the facilities or pool.

Must say staff and owner, Debbie, very nice. Held our site for us even though I didn't have my cc handy when I called. Gravel/grass sites. Newer picnic tables. Showers were updated and very clean.
The pool, however, which was closed...reminded me of the movie Cocoon. See picture. Traffic noise very loud. 90% full timers/workers.
