Del Rio, Texas to Alaska and beyond! An epic 14k mile road-trip two years in the planning!

Today begins an adventure two years in the planning. Originally just an idea of a trip to Alaska, now is a trek that includes meeting up and "caravanning" with my super-good friends the Dells, traveling through Idaho to see my son and grandkids and seeing my older brother in Fairbanks whom I have not seen in 30+ years. Will be traveling with my good friend and travel-parterner, Claudia and of course, Misty - my Keeshond - a true "American Barge Dog! On-ward Ho!!

I have stayed at the Broke Mill RV Park since Septemberwhile working as a locum tenens Physician Assistant with CompHealth. Broke Mill is THE BEST RV park in the area and I highly recommend it! Have made some good friends - both in work and the RV park. Nancy - who works at the RV park as been so wonderful and I know Misty is going to miss her as much as I will!
