The first day is just flying to Pittsburg, getting our car and chilling in the hotel, unless we have a lot of time to kill and want to find something to do in Pittsburgh itself.

7-9 am Drive / 9-11 am This will require about a 1 mile loop of walking to see the three main sites.
Frost Entomological Museum @ Penn State

11-12 pm Drive / 12 - 2 pm We're going to try and get a specialized tour of the Entomology department by one of the lab techs there.

2-4 pm Drive / 4-5 pm Probably just going to do the free factory tour since the "make your own chocolate bar" is stupid expensive.

5-6 pm If we have time at the end of the day, there is a U-Pick orchard near where we'll be staying that might be fun to pick up some fresh fruit for snacking.

8-9 am Drive / 9-11 am The battlegrounds are free to drive around like we did in Vicksburg, but there is also a museum, a standard museum film, a virtual reality experience with your choice of character, and a "cyclorama" experience that we'd need to buy tickets for. The cyclorama is the "VR of the 1880's". It's an oil painting that's over 100 yards long and 4 stories tall, hung in a circle for a 360 view. This one is the largest in North America and one of the last of its kind in the world.

11-1 pm Drive / 1-3 pm We'll need to park and walk in to get to the tomb of the unknowns. Not planning to tour the cemetery extensively, but it is a vast thing to behold. May also see the Pentagon in this area while we're there.

3-5 pm Since the two previous places are rather somber destinations, we'll just group them all together on one day, ending with this.

10:30 am Once we have biked around the National Mall to see all the main DC monuments, we'll split up to go see a couple of the Smithsonians.
