Great stay in the hotel, made it out the door at 7 am for our final leg of the journey.
As we were driving we realized that we were barely going to have enough gas to get through the salt flats. Luckily we came across this gas station and were able to fill up before heading through the Utah salt desert.
We stopped near here to let the boys run around on the salt flats and taste the salt. We also let them ride their bikes on the salt flats which they loved.
There is a park now connected to the center and we stopped here to let the boys play for awhile.
We stopped at a park and had Port of Subs for lunch. While eating there were lots of dust devils blowing around and the boys had fun pretending they were tornado chasing. They wanted to stay and watch the dust devils all day.
We almost didn't make it here! I didn't get gas when I should have, and we were down to our last mile in the minivan before we finally got to the Flying J. Though the speed limit was 80, I had the cruise control off and going between 60 and 65 on the interstate trying to save gas. I was planning out in my head how I was going to have to walk to the gas station or if I should call Earl up to come bring us gas. I was relieved and exhausted from all of the stressing I did by the time we reached the station.
