La Jolla Trip

Tucson made a beautiful stopover spot for our ladies road trip and a great way to wash the dust off our feet after the Memorial Day Weekend heatwave that hit West Texas. We stayed near the airport and ordered Chinese food delivered to the room. They had plentiful entrees at reasonable prices and even accomodated my soy free diet. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan and my daughter the Orange Chicken. The a/c was cold, the desk staff helpful (originally from our area of Texas), and the room perfect. My brother-in-law went to school here and was married here so it had been over 20 years since our last visit. We wished we had not been in such a rush to hit the beach in La Jolla, but my daughter's internship called so we slept well, had a fantastic breakfast and I had a swim in the pool in a balmy 70ish morning, shouldered our luggage and drove on.
