Moving to California is hard but not as hard as leaving your best friend. That's why Michelle and Darline are driving across the country together to prolong the eventual separation as Michelle moves to California. Time to get some good memories, check off some bucket list items and hit the road!

Picked up Darline around 8am and after putting on our Road Trip Hoodies, we hit the road. After we got some Starbucks of course.
Showed up to this place only to find it closed and for sale. Decided to get some gas and plan our next move. At the gas station (which did not accept credit cards at the pump) i had to time travel to when people paid for their gas in cash and didn't have credit cards. Asked at the gas station a good place for lunch (since all Darline and I could find were candy stores) and a customer recommended Luke's Cafe
This place was an eclectic gem of random art and pop culture. The food was really good. Homemade chips and peach cobbler that had to be inhaled it was so good. There were a group of women there who loved our hoodies and took pictures for us. They gave us advice on where to go next and to be safe. The staff also loved my 'wolf' dog who was chilling out side. This place turned out to be a great hit after our previous plan for lunch fell through and all we could find was that Abingdon has a serious sweet tooth.

Not only was there one Scrapbook Superstore here, but a Scrapbook Clearance store as well. Reminded us of Memories Galore. A lot of the travel stickers etc were good.... but we were good didn't buy anything.
